Our Beliefs
Our worship is Christ centered, Spirit filled, and God honoring. We emphasize the study and preaching of the Bible, prayer, praise and fellowship. We seek above all to glorify God and to enjoy him forever! Everyone is welcome, so we invite you to join us on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Authority
The Bible is God’s infallible Word.
Salvation
All people are sinners and break God’s Law.
The punishment of sin is eternal death.
God accepts a substitute: either we must suffer eternal punishment or accept Christ’s substitutionary death on our behalf.
God showed His acceptance of Christ’s sacrifice by raising Him from the dead.
Everyone is invited and commanded to trust in the Lord Jesus alone for salvation.
The Holy Spirit
He is God of God; the third Person of the Trinity.
He opens the heart and mind, making us willing to believe in Jesus.
He gives grace to the believer, and guides us in conformity to the Bible.
Life
Christians are called to live lives in accordance with God’s commands.
Holiness – seeking to imitate Christ – is the natural and necessary pursuit of a true believer.
Worship
God is our audience in worship. Worship is not meant to be for human entertainment!
God has commanded the singing of His hymns- the 150 Psalms of the Bible.
God speaks to us during worship in the singing, reading, and preaching of the Bible.
